‘Articulate’– An Intraclass Speech Competition for Class IV (August 2022)

To appreciate the power of words, students of Class IV participated in ARTICULATE, a speech competition, on 10 August, 2022. Each participant had to deliver an excerpt from a speech by any eminent Indian personality. Students not only delivered portions from the memorable speeches of real life heroes like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, General Manekshaw but also dressed and enacted the role. The spirit of the event and the speeches whipped the audience into a patriotic fervour.

The participants were judged on their  diction and pronunciation, portrayal of the personality, memorisation, confidence and presentation.
