Winners of movie making event at Goenkan Techfest

Goenkan Techfest was organised by G D Goenka School,Vasant Kunj. Our students participated in Multiple events and our team of Pritika Dhawan and  Lavnika Nanda of  Class X and Arnav Kashyap and  Tanveer Singh of  Class XI secured the first position in the Movie Making event “BOXED In”.

Snapshots 4.0 photography event was organised by Bal Bharati Public School, Noida.

  • In the  Senior  category Atharva Chauhan  of Class XI secured the  First position.

Advait won the best speaker award

Advait Parbat of Class V  won the best speaker award in the  7th Parul Puri Debate organised by Lotus Valley School Noida . He spoke for the Motion ” Social Media helps to develop our personality”

Team TIS winner of Brother Mahoney Football Tournament

The Brother Mahoney  Under 19 Inter School Football Tournament was organised by Mount St.Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt. We are proud to announce that our football team is the proud winner of the trophy for the year 2023 and Krish Vikram Jain of Class XII  won best player award.

Vasant Valley Drama Festival

Tagore International  School, Vasant Vihar  participated again in the The 32nd Vasant Valley School Drama Festival .  The much awaited festival is the highlight for the students of Class V, which is also a befitting adieu to their time in Primary School.

The theme selected by the students of Class V  for this year’s Drama Festival was “Myths of the Jungle”. Children from 13 schools, from across Delhi NCR presented plays based on this theme. 

Our play was very aptly named ‘ jungle jungle baat chali hai ‘ and it was an interesting  twist to Aesop’s famous fable    ‘The  Hare and the Tortoise ‘. 

The performance of our students was  a resounding success and was appreciated by all present .

Yana Sapra and Niharika secured Third position for their work on Cheriyal Folk Painting

The Indian School organised an  Interschool Music, Dance, Art, and Drama Festival -Malhaar ,where our Art team of Yana Sapra and Niharika of Class XI secured Third position for  their work on Cheriyal Folk Painting on an SDG.

Our Quizzers won laurels at RL Chopra Inter School Quiz Qriosity

New Era Public School Mayapuri organised the RL Chopra  Inter School Quiz Qriosity where our junior Quizzing team  of Neil Vikram Agarwal  and Aarav Pandey of Class V and Dhir Vikram Agarwal   of Class IV secured the 2nd position in the Cadet Quiz Category. They also won a cash prize of Rs 2000.

The team of Anishka Bharadwaj and  Aks Amol Solanke  of Class X and Aavriti Tripathi  of class IX came third in the General Awareness quiz along with a cash prize of Rs 1200.

Our Junior and Senior quizzers shine at Mind Quest

DAV Public School Gurugram organised the quiz event Mind Quest.

Our junior team of Aarav Gupta, M.Vasanth of Class VIII and Maanav Malik and Rishit Khanna of Class VII secured the first position in the Flames Quiz.

Our Senior team comprising Nidhir Bardhan of Class IX , Anishka Bharadwaj,  Arnav Tanwar and Nanda Kishore of Class X  secured second position  in the Sports and Entertainment Quiz .

Our School Bagged the Second position at Luminaire organised by Mother’s International School

Mother’s International School organised the event Luminaire where the participating teams had to identify an environmental concern and present a search based analysis and presentation.Our school  team  researched on the topic ‘Winter Menace -Stubble Burning’  and  participated in the 3  events for the final round of Good Earth , which included ,Art, poetry and the presentation. 

It is a matter of great pride that our team bagged the Second position in the final Event Good Earth. Sammyak Jain, Omila Verma  and Nuha Khan of Class XII and Niharika Thakur  and Bhargava Nachiket of Class  XI were the school’s representatives at this event.

Third Position in Quiz Competition organised by Amrita Vidyalam

Grey Matters, An Inter School Quiz Competition was organised by Amrita Vidyalam Pushp Vihar where our team of Aarav Gupta Class VIII, Nidhir Bardhan of Class IX and Anshika Bhardwaj of Class X secured the third position. Our school  has been awarded a cash prize of  Rs. 2000 for the same.

To explore and encourage scientific and technological talent among children ,Mt.Carmel  School Anand Niketan  organised the Art of Science Event , and our school team of Aks Amol Solanke of Class X and Nidhir Bardhan of Class IX  secured the First position in the  Science Quiz.

Mrinalika Negi awarded the Second position as the Best Speaker

The Indian School organised the Dr Amidas Hindi Debate where Mrinalika Negi of Class IV  was awarded the  second   position as the Best Speaker . She spoke against the Motion  ‘Humko Bhaay virtual School’ .

Our Junior team secured the second position at Design Thinking

‘Together We Can’ –  a Design Thinking Workshop – was organised  at Nirmal Bhartia School, Dwarka,  where our school participated in three categories. We are proud to announce that our junior team of Classes  IV and V  secured the 2nd position . The teams had to innovate, redesign and create a prototype of any piece of furniture that they could  use in a  classroom or library innovating to make it multi functional, portable and space efficient. Our young designers Yerik Gupta of Class IV and Anurup Ghosh of Class V  were the creative duo who bagged this prize.

Winners @ COMONOMICS–Commerce and Economics Fest

COMONOMICS – Inter  School Commerce and Economics Fest was organized by Mt Carmel School Dwarka where our team of Smayan Gupta, Sakina Nadeem, Madhav Poddar and Madhav Sarin  (all from Class XII) secured the First Position in the event Start Up Wars .

DPS Mathura Road organised Inter-School S.T.E.M. Fest ROBOTRON.

Our students participated in multiple categories . In the Prone to Drone  event the  First  position was  secured by Arnav Kashyap and Harshit Kumar of Class XI.

In the  Tinker kit based  project  the  Third position was secured by Parth Bhatla and Siddhant C Shibu of Class X

In the 3D Designing category Shobhit Aggarwal and Sin Jhih Nie  of Class VII    secured third position .

 In the   Digital Robotron  event  the 3rd position was secured  by  Angad Singh and Sarthak Tyagi of Class XI.

Mount St. Mary’s organised the Bro.Bergin Memorial  Inter School  Musical Meet  where 17 schools from Delhi participated. P B Srikrithi of  Class XI  secured the  second position in the Western Solo Singing competition with Gauri Bansal of Class XI  as the accompanist.

G D Goenka School , Gurugram organised the GDMUN  .Our students participated in multiple  committees of the MUN  where Khushi Seth of Class X received a High Commendation for her participation in the Lok Sabha Committee.

The  APSN MUN was organised by Army Public School, Noida   where our school sent a delegation of 6 students across committees and managed to win awards in every committee we participated in. The awards received are as follows:

Young Swimming Champion-Abhigyan Tokas

Our Young Swimming Champion Abhigyan Tokas of Class II  has brought laurels to the school.

He participated in the  Swim Meet hosted by the American Embassy  as well as The British School and secured Second position in 200 m Freestyle Relay and 50 and Backstroke and Third position in 50m Butterfly.

LMGMUN 2023 At LUCKNOW

A delegation of 6 students travelled to Lucknow to participate in LMGMUN’23 hosted by La Martiniere Girls’ College, Lucknow from 5 to 8 July 2023 . All committees were chaired by experienced Executive Boards from all around the country. The three day conference provided ample time for in depth discussion and made the delegates look at current issues from various  perspectives. The team included Divyaansh Sinha,Tia Banerjee, Sanjana Saxena, Yashasvi, and Vaanya Kalra. Their performance, as well as their content and preparation, received much acclaim from judges and participants alike.The team secured the following awards

Airforce Golden Jubilee Subroto Park organised Confluence Jamboree 2023 .Our students participated in various technical  and non technical events.

Aarvi Gupta of class  VIII won the Ist prize in the event Math-e-motif where the participants were required to recycle a can or bottle by decorating it with mathematical concepts.

Tavishi and Abeer secured First prize in Semi Classical and Classical Singing competition

We are proud to share that Tavishi Mittal of Class XI B and Abeer Bhardwaj of Class VIII A each secured the First Prize in an inter school competition organized by Summerfield School on 17 May 2023 under the category semi classical singing and classical singing respectively. Tavishi sang a Kajri based on Raag Pilu while Abeer rendered a drut khyal in Teentaal based on Raag Malkauns. Students from twelve other schools also competed, but clearly there was no comparison and the judges praised them for their selection of these beautiful compositions and also for their melodious performances. Well done, Tavishi and Abeer !

Naman Kumar declared Winner in the Basketball Tournament

Naman Kumar of Class VII  was declared  the Winner in  the Basketball Tournament organised by Delhi Development Authority.

HT Radio One-TIS, VV Students Host Radio Show

Hindustan Times invited students across Delhi schools to send in entries as radio jockeys. From our school, Jiya Chawla and Samarth Kochhar of Class XII were selected to host their own segment for Radio One and HT Schools 'Out of Syllabus#39; Season 2. The students got the opportunity to experience the environment of a radio studio and interact with experienced producers and Radio Jockeys. It was an arduous yet enriching experience for the duo to prepare their script and plan for their recording. Their segment will air on 94.3, Radio One as the first one of the season.

Team TIS make their presence felt at LMGMUN, Lucknow

Team TIS participated in the eighth edition of the La Martiniere Girls’ Model United Nations from 05 July – 08 July. The event witnessed participation from over 20 school delegations with over 500 delegates.

Our team delegates were a part of five distinct committees, the details are as follows:
1. Vaanya Kalra – United Nations General Assembly – the weapons of mass destruction and loopholes in the NPT.
2. Tia Bannerjee – International Police – addressing organised crime in Latin America and illicit drug trade and piracy.
3. Sanjana Saxena – Artificial Intelligence Global Summit – strategy for a healthy and standardised development of AI and its ethical use.
4. Divyaansh Sinha – United Nations Security Council – Ethiopia’s Tigray crisis.
5. Yashaswi – United Nations Commission on the Status of Women – participation of women in policy making under the Islamic State of Iraq.

Our delegation excelled at the event and won the following accolades:

The three-day conference provided an in-depth discussion on each of the agendas and made the delegates look at present-day issues from different perspectives.

Anaisha won Gold Medals in the Grand Open taekwondo Championship

Aniasha of Class I has been awarded Gold Medals in the 15th Challenger Cup Grand Open taekwondo Championship held at Talkatora Stadium and 17th South district Taekwondo championship held in New Delhi.

Apeejay Saket-Chunauti  2023 was organised by Apeejay Saket where our students participated in an array of competitions. Among them  Prabhdit Singh Chawla of Class V   secured  1st position in Shizen Landscape and Abeer Bhardwaj of Class VIII for Naad Brahma, Jaiveer Saharawat of Class XII of class   for Rapso quy and Vihaan Singh of Class X    for Western Music Synth project.

Crescendo,   a student-driven festival, was  conducted on an online platform by LilaVati Bai Poddar School. It covered a plethora of spectrums within the field of Commerce; such as stock exchange, trade, business, marketing and finance. A bilingual Poetry Slam event was organized by Shiv Nadar School Gurugram where Priyanshu Paul of Class XII was awarded the  Runner’s Up trophy in the Blackout poetry competition.

Aparajita and Khushi shine at Vasant valley Speakers' Forum

Aparajita Yadav and Khushi Seth  of Class X secured the third position in the Turncoat debate and Slam poetry Competitions respectively at the Vasant Valley Speakers’ Forum.

Daksh Parashar received a special mention in a painting competition

In the Y Kumar Memorial Contest on International Understanding and Brotherhood organised by Springdales Pusa road, Daksh Parashar of Class III received a special mention for his painting in the  5-8 years category.

Students bagged awards in Chess Tournament

At Mohini Virender Singh Chess Tournament, our  students Ridit Popli of Class VI, Rayansh Chhaunker, Arpit Lakra and Akshat Hatwal of Class VIII  secured the third position. Ridit scored the maximum points for which he was presented with a board prize.

At the 3rd Amity Chess Cup, our team comprising Ridit Popli of Class VI, Rayansh Chhaunker, Arpit Lakra, Irayana Bhatia, Trisha Rajput, Harsimran K. Bindra of Class VII, Vedant Patil of Class VIII and Kritika of Class IX  secured the third position. Kritika and Reyansh both secured fourth place in the individual category.

Aviral Dobhal  of Class IV was awarded a medal and Certificate of Honour in the 10th Open chess championship. He secured 4 points out of a total of 6.

Aarav Rawat was awarded the Gold Medal in the 15th South District Taekwondo Championship

Aarav Rawat of Class IV was awarded the Gold Medal in the 15th South District Taekwondo Championship in the Sub Junior Under 29 kg category.

Sanjana Saxena adjudged the Best Interjector

Sanjana Saxena  of Class XI  was adjudged the Best Interjector in the Prelims of the Ramjas Inter School Debate, 2022 and was awarded a cash prize along with a certificate.

Anushka Iyer and Gauhar Singh of Class V participated in the Social Science Debate and bagged the Second position at an Interschool Literary and Cultral Fiesta – Zenith organised by Bal Bharati Puublic School, Pitampura.

At Rhetoria 2022 organised by JM International School, Aashi Seth of Class VII  won the Second Prize in MetaVerse – where the participants were required to make a video on authors and poets along with a self composed poem.

At Shutterfest organised by Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lavnika Nanda of Class IX  secured First position in Green Panther’s Zone event and was awarded an Amazon gift voucher of Rs 1000 along with a certificate. In a series of computer science and mathematics competitions held at Birla Vidya Niketan, our school team consisting of Siya Aneja, Ritwik Shingari and  Shreyas Menon of Class XI secured first position in the event Plunder. In the event Design-a-thon, Simrat Oberoi, Navya Arora, Shiven Agrawal, Devansh Pandita and Utkarsh Mishra also secured the first position. Not to be left behind, Shiven Agrawal and Ishaan Ahlawat also bagged the first position in Algobattles  .

Utkarsh Mishra, Simrat Oberoi and Aditya Anand  secured second  position in   Hackathon and Bhavik Malik and Kushgra Goyal secured third position in  Quiz.

In the Math Wizard , Aarav Ahuja of Class VII and Yashaswi of Class VIII  secured first position in the middle category.

Fr Agnel School Gautam Nagar organised Mind Quest – Innovision to provide the students an opportunity to explore, develop and unleash their latent talents .

Mind Quest had  various events related to different subjects. In Flip the Channel the team had to present a given topic on four different T.V. channels 

News Channel , Discovery Channel , Music Channel and  Entertainment Channel. Our team composed of Madhav Sareen, Prabhleen Kaur, Ivana Dhiman and Tisha Madan,  all from Class XI, secured the First position.

St Marks World School Meera Bagh organised a literary and cultural extravaganza  World of Culture and Literature 2022.  Our team of Parthivi Bhatia and Sara Dyarakoti  of Class VIII  secured  first position  in poetry in motion  where one participant had to  recite the poem and the other participant would enact it.

Indiver Bera  and Raayansh Chaaunker of Class VII  also secured  2nd position in News Hour in the same event  where the participants had to choose a burning issue and report it live from the scene of the incident in a humorous way.

Students won laurels at interschool fest Rendezvous 2022

Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lodi Road. organised their inter school fest Rendezvous – 2022.  Our Team participated in the Competition Perceptive Transmission  where students were given a scenario to comprehend  and write a piece of poetry based on the same. In the next phase the poem written by their partner was passed on to the next student who has to analyse the poem given and create an art piece based on it. The art piece created by the second student was given to the last student of the team who had to examine it  and write a scenario on the basis of the art work. Our team of Rabani Dhingra and Garima Kundra of Class IX B and Ada Arora of Class IX C secured the first position in this competition.

In the same event our team of Smayan Gupta and  Ivana Dhiman of Class XI participated in Stratagem and secured the third position where the participants had  to present an innovative idea / expansion plan of a product related to a social issue . Also In the Cryptrick competition our team of Navya Arora Siya Aneja and Utkarsh Mishra of Class XI and Aryan Mendiratta of  Class XII  also secured the Third position.

Our junior team won the second prize at Inter-School Quiz Festival – ‘Qriosity’

The 11th R. L. Chopra Memorial Inter-School Quiz Festival – ‘Qriosity’  was also organised by New Era  School The two day festival  catered to the quizzing prowess of students in various topics .Our team of Neil Vikram Aggarwal of Class IV, Trinabh Mishra and Rishit Khanna of Class V won the second prize in the Cadet Quiz.

Ryan International School Vasant Vihar organised the Science Fest-Discovery Createch in November .Our students brought laurels by winning the Overall trophy of the event.

Our school bagged first position in the social welfare category at #TagGED

Tagore International School,East of Kailash organized #TagGED : Brilliant Ideas Must Be Tagged in November . There were three categories -Innovation – STEAM, Social Welfare ( Environment/Social Issue) and Entrepreneurship( Business Ideas). Our student-led initiative TerraTime aimed at managing plastic waste by creating durable and sustainable eco brick furniture, participated and bagged the first position in the Social Welfare Category. The team consisted of Sakina Nadeem, Jasmyra Sahni and Aishani Singh of Class XI along with Lalnun Kimi of Class X. They have been awarded a cash prize  along with a trophy.

Our School Basketball team won second position in Satish Chandra Memorial Basketball Tournament

The inaugural Satish Chandra Memorial Basketball Tournament was organised by OPG world school Dwarka.The Tournament was played on a league cum knock-out basis. Our under 14 Girls team secured the Second position in the tournament  with an excellent performance .

The team included Priisha Taneja, Paavni Kapur, Myra Kang, Manya Arya, Riddhima Upadhyay, Ananya Rawat, Ananya Sahijwani, Aarna Sapra, Ahana Suryavanshi, Arshia Virmani and Megha.

Winners of LotusMUN’22

A delegation of four students participated in LotusMUN’22 hosted by Lotus Valley International School, Gurgaon, on 14 -15 October 2022. 

Our team won awards in 2 of the 4 committees we participated in with a High Commendation  Award(Lok Sabha) for Aarush Chakrapani of Class XII  and  an Mention (UNGA) for Divyaansh Sinha (UNGA) of Class X.

This was also the first time our school participated in a committee simulating the Union of European Football Association and it gave students a unique opportunity to learn and improve for future events.

Utkarsh Seth and Kamna Budakoti won Second position in 'Animate it' event

Psychologue–Online Inter-School Mental Health Awareness Fest was organised  by Sri Venkateshwar International School Dwarka with the objective of raising awareness about mental health .Our students Utkarsh Seth and Kamna Budakoti of Class XII secured Second position in the team event Animate it. They had to make an animated video on the theme Judicious Use of Social Media.

Mt  Carmel School, Anand Niketan organised the V K Williams Memorial Inter-School Debate in October. The motion for the debate was “The House Believes that We Should Use Force to Make Peace”. Our team of Madav Poddar of Class XI and Nishtha of Class XII  made us proud by securing Second position in the debate. An amount of Rs 10000 has been awarded to the school  for winning this debate.

Mt Carmel also organised an inter school competitive event Let’s Interact with competitions for various categories. Devansh Sinha  of Class  X secured Third position in the Hindi competition-Desh Bhakti par Hindi Kavita Pratyogita.

Winners of Creative Writing Contest at New Era Public School

New Era Public School Mayapuri organised the R L Chopra Memorial Creative writing contest in the month of August. The book selected this year for English was Things fall Apart by Chinua Achebe and for Hindi was Hind Swaraj by Mohandas Gandhi. Participants were expected to write a creative piece based on the topic or statement given from the book. Our students Pratyush Saini of Class XII   and Simran of Class X  secured the  Second and Third position in English and Hindi category respectively . They have been awarded  cheques of Rs 1000 and  Rs 500  respectively along with the certificates.

Our school football team participated in the 28th Bro Mahony Memorial Football tournament organised  by Mount  St Mary’s School and our student Daksh Bhambani of class XII  got the trophy for the most promising player of the league.

‘Eloquence’ An Inter-School Literary Event was organised by K R Mangalam  World School  Greater Kailash to  encourage students to present their thoughts with conviction and clarity. This year, they selected ‘आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ as the theme for this Literary Event. Parthivi Bhatia of class VIII won first prize in the Recitation competition PROP-O-POEM.

Second Edition of Sunbeam School Varuna’s Thought Huddle- 2022, was held on a  Virtual platform where our student Ishika Jain of class VIII received the Judge’s Choice Award for Letter writing competition in the Creative writing  category.

Comm shetra , a commerce event was organised by Blue Bells School Gurugram. Our students Madhav Poddar and Sakina Nadeem of Class XI participated in the event Nitikar. It was an extremely innovative and thought-provoking competition wherein students had to suggest viable changes to the NEP to make students’  lives better. Our team chose Part I (School education) and suggested three policy changes. Out of  45 schools and after a number of rigorous rounds our school team came first.

Tagore International School, East of Kailash organised the  TAGFEST 2022- the Annual Inter-School Literary, Art, Drama and Technology festival in September 2022. The theme for this year’s edition of TAGFEST was – Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

Vivaan Bhatnagar of Class III secured second position for Kavita Vaachan on the Goal of  gender equality.  Seerat Kocher and Navyasha Navajyoti  of Class II secured the third position in  the story telling competition, Kathan. Aditi Ranjan of Class V secured third position in the computer competition , Young Sketchers  where the participant needed to create a slide Sketchnote based on the story given on the theme: “Quality Education.”
