Indian Meteorological department conducted an inter school painting competition as part of The IMD Foundation Day celebrations 2023, Avni Sikder of class IX bagged the first prize in the senior category. She received a cash prize of Rs 2000 along with a merit certificate.

Mind Quest had various events related to different subjects. In Flip the Channel the team had to present a given topic on four different T.V. channels
News Channel , Discovery Channel , Music Channel and Entertainment Channel. Our team composed of Madhav Sareen, Prabhleen Kaur, Ivana Dhiman and Tisha Madan, all from Class XI, secured the First position.

Students shine at literary and cultural extravaganza- World of Culture and Literature 2022
St Marks World School Meera Bagh organised a literary and cultural extravaganza World of Culture and Literature 2022. Our team of Parthivi Bhatia and Sara Dyarakoti of Class VIII secured first position in poetry in motion where one participant had to recite the poem and the other participant would enact it.
Indiver Bera and Raayansh Chaaunker of Class VII also secured 2nd position in News Hour in the same event where the participants had to choose a burning issue and report it live from the scene of the incident in a humorous way.

Students won laurels at interschool fest Rendezvous 2022
Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lodi Road. organised their inter school fest Rendezvous – 2022. Our Team participated in the Competition Perceptive Transmission where students were given a scenario to comprehend and write a piece of poetry based on the same. In the next phase the poem written by their partner was passed on to the next student who has to analyse the poem given and create an art piece based on it. The art piece created by the second student was given to the last student of the team who had to examine it and write a scenario on the basis of the art work. Our team of Rabani Dhingra and Garima Kundra of Class IX B and Ada Arora of Class IX C secured the first position in this competition.
In the same event our team of Smayan Gupta and Ivana Dhiman of Class XI participated in Stratagem and secured the third position where the participants had to present an innovative idea / expansion plan of a product related to a social issue . Also In the Cryptrick competition our team of Navya Arora Siya Aneja and Utkarsh Mishra of Class XI and Aryan Mendiratta of Class XII also secured the Third position.

Our junior team won the second prize at Inter-School Quiz Festival – ‘Qriosity’
The 11th R. L. Chopra Memorial Inter-School Quiz Festival – ‘Qriosity’ was also organised by New Era School The two day festival catered to the quizzing prowess of students in various topics .Our team of Neil Vikram Aggarwal of Class IV, Trinabh Mishra and Rishit Khanna of Class V won the second prize in the Cadet Quiz.

Ryan International School Vasant Vihar organised the Science Fest-Discovery Createch in November .Our students brought laurels by winning the Overall trophy of the event.

Our school bagged first position in the social welfare category at #TagGED
Tagore International School,East of Kailash organized #TagGED : Brilliant Ideas Must Be Tagged in November . There were three categories -Innovation – STEAM, Social Welfare ( Environment/Social Issue) and Entrepreneurship( Business Ideas). Our student-led initiative TerraTime aimed at managing plastic waste by creating durable and sustainable eco brick furniture, participated and bagged the first position in the Social Welfare Category. The team consisted of Sakina Nadeem, Jasmyra Sahni and Aishani Singh of Class XI along with Lalnun Kimi of Class X. They have been awarded a cash prize along with a trophy.

Our School Basketball team won second position in Satish Chandra Memorial Basketball Tournament
The inaugural Satish Chandra Memorial Basketball Tournament was organised by OPG world school Dwarka.The Tournament was played on a league cum knock-out basis. Our under 14 Girls team secured the Second position in the tournament with an excellent performance .
The team included Priisha Taneja, Paavni Kapur, Myra Kang, Manya Arya, Riddhima Upadhyay, Ananya Rawat, Ananya Sahijwani, Aarna Sapra, Ahana Suryavanshi, Arshia Virmani and Megha.

Winners of LotusMUN’22
A delegation of four students participated in LotusMUN’22 hosted by Lotus Valley International School, Gurgaon, on 14 -15 October 2022.
Our team won awards in 2 of the 4 committees we participated in with a High Commendation Award(Lok Sabha) for Aarush Chakrapani of Class XII and an Mention (UNGA) for Divyaansh Sinha (UNGA) of Class X.
This was also the first time our school participated in a committee simulating the Union of European Football Association and it gave students a unique opportunity to learn and improve for future events.

Utkarsh Seth and Kamna Budakoti won Second position in 'Animate it' event
Psychologue–Online Inter-School Mental Health Awareness Fest was organised by Sri Venkateshwar International School Dwarka with the objective of raising awareness about mental health .Our students Utkarsh Seth and Kamna Budakoti of Class XII secured Second position in the team event Animate it. They had to make an animated video on the theme Judicious Use of Social Media.

Students won laurels at Mt Carmel School Anand Niketan
Mt Carmel School, Anand Niketan organised the V K Williams Memorial Inter-School Debate in October. The motion for the debate was “The House Believes that We Should Use Force to Make Peace”. Our team of Madav Poddar of Class XI and Nishtha of Class XII made us proud by securing Second position in the debate. An amount of Rs 10000 has been awarded to the school for winning this debate.
Mt Carmel also organised an inter school competitive event Let’s Interact with competitions for various categories. Devansh Sinha of Class X secured Third position in the Hindi competition-Desh Bhakti par Hindi Kavita Pratyogita.


Winners of Creative Writing Contest at New Era Public School
New Era Public School Mayapuri organised the R L Chopra Memorial Creative writing contest in the month of August. The book selected this year for English was Things fall Apart by Chinua Achebe and for Hindi was Hind Swaraj by Mohandas Gandhi. Participants were expected to write a creative piece based on the topic or statement given from the book. Our students Pratyush Saini of Class XII and Simran of Class X secured the Second and Third position in English and Hindi category respectively . They have been awarded cheques of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 respectively along with the certificates.

Our school football team participated in the 28th Bro Mahony Memorial Football tournament organised by Mount St Mary’s School and our student Daksh Bhambani of class XII got the trophy for the most promising player of the league.

Parthivi Bhatia won the first prize in the Recitation Competition
‘Eloquence’ An Inter-School Literary Event was organised by K R Mangalam World School Greater Kailash to encourage students to present their thoughts with conviction and clarity. This year, they selected ‘आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ as the theme for this Literary Event. Parthivi Bhatia of class VIII won first prize in the Recitation competition PROP-O-POEM.

Second Edition of Sunbeam School Varuna’s Thought Huddle- 2022, was held on a Virtual platform where our student Ishika Jain of class VIII received the Judge’s Choice Award for Letter writing competition in the Creative writing category.

Winner of Comm Shetra, a commerce event organised by Blue Bells School
Comm shetra , a commerce event was organised by Blue Bells School Gurugram. Our students Madhav Poddar and Sakina Nadeem of Class XI participated in the event Nitikar. It was an extremely innovative and thought-provoking competition wherein students had to suggest viable changes to the NEP to make students’ lives better. Our team chose Part I (School education) and suggested three policy changes. Out of 45 schools and after a number of rigorous rounds our school team came first.

Inter School Art Competition Rang bahar – was organised by Ambience School Safdarjung Enclave. Darsh Ranjan of Class VIII secured Third position in Pottery Making in the category of 10-13 yrs. The topic for clay modelling was Summer Fruits in a Basket.

Junior School Students Shine at TAGFEST organised by TIS, EoK
Tagore International School, East of Kailash organised the TAGFEST 2022- the Annual Inter-School Literary, Art, Drama and Technology festival in September 2022. The theme for this year’s edition of TAGFEST was – Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Vivaan Bhatnagar of Class III secured second position for Kavita Vaachan on the Goal of gender equality. Seerat Kocher and Navyasha Navajyoti of Class II secured the third position in the story telling competition, Kathan. Aditi Ranjan of Class V secured third position in the computer competition , Young Sketchers where the participant needed to create a slide Sketchnote based on the story given on the theme: “Quality Education.”

Amity International School, Pushp Vihar held its virtual version of Inter School Theater Festival ‘Ignited Spirits’ 2022, Ivaan Chaudhary of class VI participated and bagged the first position in the competition Comical Chronicles where in the diffculties and hope of the online learning was portrayed with a mild satire. Winners of Dwarka Sustainable Development Congress organised by Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka
Dwarka Sustainable Development Congress was organised by Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka in the month of May. It was an international event with over 200 delegates from all over the Indian subcontinent. Participants were asked to pick any two SDGs. 3 of our students had submitted their research papers.
In the final virtual presentation, Niyamat Kochhar of class X won the best research paper award. She wrote on our school’s initiative Sehpaathi and about “project पवित्र”
Sonakshi Sharma of class IX won for presenting the best solution for building stronger partnerships with schools, NGOs and like-minded organizations globally and for presenting the school’s initiative, Breaking Barriers as a model to promote Gender Equality.

The 53rd Govardhan Dass Declamation Contest was organised by Springdales, Pusa Road. Participants were given 45 minutes to prepare a speech on various topics. Aadithyan Subramanian of class XII won commendation for best speaker. His topic was ‘Has Religion Become the Opium of Indian Masses’.
