Inspiring Change: Poster Making Competition and Organ Donation Campaign at Nehru Planetarium
Tagore International School Vasant Vihar students participated in the Annual Poster Making Competition at Nehru Planetarium, held on December 4, 2023, in collaboration with ORGAN India and NOTTO. The theme, “Transforming Lives,” prompted students to creatively express the impact of organ donation.
Team AWAAM from our school was also invited to present their play ‘Ahsaas,’ fostering empathy and understanding among participants from various schools. The concurrent poster-making competition visually showcased students’ creativity, amplifying the event’s impact in promoting organ donation awareness.
Yana Sapra, a Class XIB student, excelled and secured the third prize among 40 participating schools. The event not only encouraged creative expression but also fostered a sense of responsibility toward organ donation within the student community. The day concluded with students enjoying a show at the Sky Theatre, creating a wholesome and enjoyable experience.

Vasant Valley Drama Festival
Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar participated again in the The 32nd Vasant Valley School Drama Festival . The much awaited festival is the highlight for the students of Class V, which is also a befitting adieu to their time in Primary School.
The theme selected by the students of Class V for this year’s Drama Festival was “Myths of the Jungle”. Children from 13 schools, from across Delhi NCR presented plays based on this theme.
Our play was very aptly named ‘ jungle jungle baat chali hai ‘ and it was an interesting twist to Aesop’s famous fable ‘The Hare and the Tortoise ‘.
The performance of our students was a resounding success and was appreciated by all present .

‘Together We Can’ – a Design Thinking Workshop – was organised at Nirmal Bhartia School, Dwarka, where our school participated in three categories. A delegation of 6 students travelled to Lucknow to participate in LMGMUN’23 hosted by La Martiniere Girls’ College, Lucknow from 5 to 8 July 2023 . All committees were chaired by experienced Executive Boards from all around the country. The three day conference provided ample time for in depth discussion and made the delegates look at current issues from various perspectives. We are proud to share that Tavishi Mittal of Class XI B and Abeer Bhardwaj of Class VIII A each secured the First Prize in an inter school competition organized by Summerfield School on 17 May 2023 under the category semi classical singing and classical singing respectively. Tavishi sang a Kajri based on Raag Pilu while Abeer rendered a drut khyal in Teentaal based on Raag Malkauns. Students from twelve other schools also competed, but clearly there was no comparison and the judges praised them for their selection of these beautiful compositions and also for their melodious performances. HT Radio One-TIS, VV Students Host Radio Show
Hindustan Times invited students across Delhi schools to send in entries as radio jockeys. From our school, Jiya Chawla and Samarth Kochhar of Class XII were selected to host their own segment for Radio One and HT Schools 'Out of Syllabus#39; Season 2. The students got the opportunity to experience the environment of a radio studio and interact with experienced producers and Radio Jockeys. It was an arduous yet enriching experience for the duo to prepare their script and plan for their recording. Their segment will air on 94.3, Radio One as the first one of the season.
Team TIS make their presence felt at LMGMUN, Lucknow
Team TIS participated in the eighth edition of the La Martiniere Girls’ Model United Nations from 05 July – 08 July. The event witnessed participation from over 20 school delegations with over 500 delegates.
Our team delegates were a part of five distinct committees, the details are as follows:

The three-day conference provided an in-depth discussion on each of the agendas and made the delegates look at present-day issues from different perspectives.

Aniasha of Class I has been awarded Gold Medals in the 15th Challenger Cup Grand Open taekwondo Championship held at Talkatora Stadium and 17th South district Taekwondo championship held in New Delhi.

Winners of Ordin@trix 23.0
Our school hosted its annual Ordin@trix inter school competition on 4 May 2023 where 51 schools from across Delhi-NCR participated. Navansh Saneja of Class IV won the 3rd position in the Anim@trix category. Mudit Agarwal and Jyotirmay Routray of Class VIII and Abhiraj Agarwal of Class XII also secured the 3rd position in IOT@trix
Students won laurels at Chunauti organised by Apeejay Saket
Apeejay Saket-Chunauti 2023 was organised by Apeejay Saket where our students participated in an array of competitions. Among them Prabhdit Singh Chawla of Class V secured 1st position in Shizen Landscape and Abeer Bhardwaj of Class VIII for Naad Brahma, Jaiveer Saharawat of Class XII of class for Rapso quy and Vihaan Singh of Class X for Western Music Synth project.

Techtonik Interschool Competition was organised by Suncity School, Gurugram ,where our students participated in various online and offline events. In the online events Navansh Saneja of Class IV B secured 2nd position in the event Gameopedia. Pavani Banga and Naira Sabharwal of Class V also secured 3rd position in Story Designing and Vihaan Minocha and Prakhar Chhabra of Class VIII secured 3rd position in the event Minecraft World.

Students shine at Crescendo organised by LilaVati Bai Poddar School
Crescendo, a student-driven festival, was conducted on an online platform by LilaVati Bai Poddar School. It covered a plethora of spectrums within the field of Commerce; such as stock exchange, trade, business, marketing and finance. Smayan Gupta and Sakina Nadeem secured 2nd place in the competition PR’s Dr. Fixit .

In Festival Della Scienza 2.0, Raisa Kharbanda of Class VI secured the 3rd position in Alimentaire Analisi (Food Adulteration Test) . Also Zindaggi Watish of Class XII received the consolation prize for Giochiamo Biologia / Let’s Play Biology .

A bilingual Poetry Slam event was organized by Shiv Nadar School Gurugram where Priyanshu Paul of Class XII was awarded the Runner’s Up trophy in the Blackout poetry competition.
