Under-12 Girls Triumph at Zonal Basketball Tournament
On 23 August 2024, our Under-12 Girls Badminton Team triumphed with a gold medal at the Zonal Basketball Tournament held at DPS Vasant Kunj. The team, featuring P. Diya Rao (Class V B), Yana Chauhan (Class IV C), Sarmista Dubey (Class IV C), Myra Dyarakoti (Class V C), Krisha B. Manney (Class IV C), Aarna Nijhawan (Class V C), Myra Jaswani (Class V B), Mahek Sehrawat (Class V A), Tara Pandalai Sain (Class IV B), Uttara (Class IV C), Sarah Singh (Class IV C), and Yashvita (Class V C), displayed extraordinary teamwork and skill on the court. Their hard work and determination led them to this well deserved victory.

On 3 August 2024, our Under-12 Boys Badminton Team proudly secured the silver medal at the Zonal Badminton Tournament held at GBSSS IARI PUSA. The team, consisting of Shaarav Kumar (Class V C), Manvith Arora (Class IV A), and Vihaan Kapoor (Class V C), displayed exceptional talent and sportsmanship throughout the competition. On 2 August 2024, our young badminton stars clinched the gold medal at the Under-14 Girls Zonal Badminton Tournament, held at GBSSS IARI PUSA. The team, consisting of Aarohi Bhowmik (Class VII A), Shambhavi Pun (Class VII A), Lavanya Bharadwaj (Class VI B), and Shanaya Mohanty (Class VI B), displayed remarkable teamwork and determination. Abhigyan Tokas of Class III secured the Second position in Boys 25 m Backstroke and Third position in 25 m Breast stroke in the Daniel Delany Swimming Championship at Mount St Mary’s School.

Our school being a part of Zone 20 of South West District New Delhi participated in multiple Zonal Level Sports Competitions and performed exceedingly well.
- In Badminton, the U-14 girls team of Kritleen Kaur, Ira Saxena, and Anushka Sehrawat of Class IX and Arohi Bhaumik of Class VI secured the First Position.
- The U-17 girls team of Avani Sikder and Tishya Chandok of Class XI and Tanisha Singh of Class XII secured the first position.
- The U-19 Girls team of Garima, Unnat And Rushil of Class XI secured the Third position.
- In the U-14 Boys Badminton Championship Krishay Suri of Class VIII, Maahir of Class VII and Agastya Negi of Class VI secured the first position.
- In U-10 Hridyansh ,Sumat and Yuvaansh of Class V secured the second position.
- Our Junior Girls team of Volleyball secured the second position in the Zonal Volleyball Championship. The participants were Srishti, Samyata, Ojasvi, Maanvi, Jesnoor Kaur, Tithi Barua, Ananya and Snehpreet.
- In Table Tennis our Sub Junior team secured Second Position against DPS Vasant Kunj. Maanav Malik ,Yashaan Sachdeva , Abeer Kumar and Saksham Gupta of class VIII.
Young Swimming Champ-Abhigyan Tokas
Our young swimming champ Abhigyan’s Tokas of Class III has brought laurels to school by winning medals. He won Gold medal in 4×25 m Medley relay , 2 Silver medals in 4 x50 m Medley relay and 25 m butterfly and 1 Bronze medal in 25 m freestyle at the Boys ‘U-9’ British School Swimming Competition organised in May.

Gaurav Sheoran Triumphs: Delhi State Chess Championship for the Visually Impaired 2024-25
Gaurav Sheoran, a stalwart of Class X , showcased commendable intellectual prowess by fearlessly participating in the fiercely competitive Delhi State Chess Championship for the Visually Impaired 2024-25. Hosted by All India Chess Federation for the Blind (AICFB) and Delhi Chess Association for the Blind (DCAB) at the National Association for the Blind (NAB) from 11 to 13 April 2024, this event attracted a staggering 82 competitors, each vying for glory. Despite this daunting competition, Gaurav’s indomitable spirit shone brightly as he navigated through eight rounds of intense chess battles over three grueling days. Emerging triumphant in five matches within the Junior Category, Gaurav secured the third rank, a testament to his unwavering dedication and strategic brilliance. His stellar performance not only earned him accolades but also a well-deserved cash prize of ₹500. Gaurav, your achievement fills our hearts with immense pride and admiration. Well done!
