Graduation Ceremony

Every year, we bid farewell to our graduating students of class XII in the winter before their Board Exams are conducted.

The programme begins with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp along with the rendition of melodious hymns. Every student is awarded a sash and a certificate and a personalised citation is read aloud. We also award the prestigious Rabindra Ratna Award to the outstanding achiever of the batch. We select four valedictorians (one per section), who reminisce about their most memorable school experiences. The current Student Cabinet is discharged of their duties and they hand over their responsibilities and roles to the incoming Cabinet members. Classical dance and music performances are showcased by Class XI.

In the evening, Class XI hosts an entertainment-filled farewell ceremony for the graduating seniors. They choose a theme, based on which the soirée is set, dress codes prescribed, and invitations sent out to both students and teachers of XI and XII. The evening includes hilarious games, fashion shows, music and dancing, and ends with a lavish dinner.

The Graduation Ceremony and Farewell took place online for the Class of 2021. The Rabindra Ratna Award was conferred upon Arsh Misra, who had the unique distinction of being a batch topper for three years in a row.
