The Junior Library buzzed with excitement in August 2024 as students from Classes I to V participated in engaging activities celebrating India’s heritage and freedom. Class I enjoyed a lively storytelling session with “Elmer the Elephant,” learning valuable lessons on diversity and unity. Class II explored the significance of the Indian flag, crafting tri-colour bookmarks as they delved into the meanings of the colours. Class III researched and presented famous quotes by freedom fighters, fostering a deeper connection to India’s history. Class IV honored women freedom fighters by creating and showcasing biographical posters. Class V’s month concluded with an exhilarating quiz on India’s struggle for independence. The students’ enthusiasm and active participation made the activities both educational and enjoyable.
