Navigating Conflicts: Peer Mentoring Sessions Continue

The recent peer mentoring sessions for Classes VI to VIII were focused on understanding and managing conflicts. The first session explored the roots of conflicts, highlighting how misunderstandings, competition, and communication breakdowns often lead to disagreements. Senior students, acting as mentors, guided their juniors in recognizing how emotions like anger can amplify conflicts if not handled properly. The second session provided practical strategies for resolving conflicts. Through role-playing and group discussions, mentors demonstrated how empathy, active listening, and effective communication can prevent conflicts from escalating. These sessions not only deepen the  juniors’ understanding of conflict resolution but also encourage a culture of empathy and collaboration within the school.
