Tagore International School

On 14 May 2025, the day began with a streak of happiness for teachers of Classes Nursery to V as they attended a fun-filled and engaging workshop on happiness conducted by Mr. Anit, a sustainability crusader, happiness coach, and strategist with over two decades of international experience. Deeply passionate about working with young minds and enhancing societal well-being, Mr. Anit guided them through a journey of self-reflection and joyful discovery. Through engaging games, Mr. Amit conveyed the value of communication, and teamwork. The importance of small habits like taking breaks in between work and journaling the acts of gratitude took centre stage. Concepts like ‘hedonic adaptation’ were introduced, making the session both insightful and empowering.

The session encouraged the audience to pause and consider whether they were truly happy and if they really understood what they needed to feel fulfilled. The workshop helped them understand the importance of aligning their values, managing time meaningfully, setting goals, prioritising tasks, and cultivating positive habits. With its focus on emotional well-being and personal growth, the workshop reinforced the idea that happy teachers create happy classrooms, and that happiness is a practice we can all nurture in our daily lives.
