In Nursery & Kindergarten, the students are introduced to English and Mathematics. They are also taught concepts in Science and general awareness. We add Hindi as a second language in the latter half of the Kindergarten year. In Classes I-V, students learn two languages (English and Hindi), and study Mathematics and Environmental Science (a combination of Science and Social Science). All students must also study an ‘Art Pursuit’, where they choose from Public Speaking, Theatre, Instrumental Music, Dance, Clay Modeling, and Indian Music. In the mornings, they must also choose to practice either Taekwondo, Yoga, or Aerobics. All students in Classes I-V also attend classes in Computers, Sports, General Knowledge, and Art. When there is free time in their ‘zero periods’, the teachers hold discussions on TED talks and run a ‘DEAR’ program (Drop Everything And Read).
Middle School [VI-VIII]
In Classes VI – VIII, the school follows the three language formula, with English and Hindi being compulsory and a choice between Sanskrit, Spanish, and French as the third language.
