Parthivi Bhatia of Class X participated in Scholastic’s Writers Academy Workshop. Her story titled “You v/s You” has been published under the anthology, ‘An Illustration Of Words”. The story ‘You v/s You’ revolves around a teenage girl, struggling with her emotions and facing the challenges that come her way. The book is available to read on Amazon and even in the scholastic book fairs!
Aadya Maheshwari and Kritika Shammi declared as Finalists in the 2024 FedEx JA International Trade Challenge India Nationals
Congratulations to Aadya Maheshwari and Kritika Shammi of Class XI on being declared as Finalists in the 2024 FedEx JA International Trade Challenge India National Final held on 08 July organised by tGELF/JA India. They have received Book Vouchers worth Rs 1500 each .

Reading is a journey that takes you to places your imagination has never been before, opening doors to endless possibilities.
- Garv Joshi from Class V has authored a book titled “Axe Man vs Polybius” which is an adventurous tale which is about a little boy and his defence against a super villain.
- Atharv Manocha of Class IV has also written a book titled ” The Magic of Friendship”. The book explores the journey of friendship and how it can bring life long joy in our lives.
Students excelled in National Level Essay Writing Competition
The National Level Essay writing Competition was organised by Experience Japan ,where our students submitted their essays online and competed with 199 schools across India and Oman.
Aadya Jain Class V secured the Consolation prize in the Primary category The topic for this category was “Popularity of Japanese animation among Indians”. And in the Junior Category for Classes VI-VIII, the Winners of Consolation prizes were Atharv Jain of Class VI, Aditi Ranjan of Class VII, Daksha Kharb Class VIII. The topic for this Category was “Japan a Tapestry of Culture and traditions”
Students Shine at National Level Quiz Competition
SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Bengaluru recently hosted a prestigious National Level quiz competition for school students from across India. Representing our school, the team consisting of Nidhir Bardhan, M. Vasanth, Vihaan Swarankar, and Anishka Bharadwaj (from Classes IX to XII) traveled to Bengaluru to participate in this esteemed event. The competition was fierce, with numerous challenging rounds Demonstrating their knowledge and quick thinking, our team successfully cleared three rounds of elimination. Their perseverance paid off as they secured the second position, missing the top spot by a very narrow margin. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/-Congratulations to Nidhir, Vasanth, Vihaan, and Anishka for making our school proud!
Budding Authors
It is good to see that we have many budding authors blooming in our school. Adding to the list we have Anika Sharma of Class VI with her book “The Magic of Storytime” She started writing stories at the age of 8. Since then, she has written stories about teamwork, friendship, and nature. She first published her stories on Story Weaver, This book encompasses short stories based on animals, planets and things.
Harshit Khushlani of Class XI has written a book titled “Paul – Leena: A Magical and Adventurous Love Story” full of action, adventure, fantasy and many more things.
TIS Students Shine on Radio One with "Out of Syllabus"
HT Pace (Hindustan Times) and Radio One have joined forces to amplify the voices of Young India through their series “Out of Syllabus.” Among over 50 entries, two students from Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, Tishya Chandok and Vaanya Kalra, were chosen to host a one-hour show on 94.3 Radio One.
In July 2023, students submitted their video auditions, and on May 22, 2024, Tishya and Vaanya visited Noida Film City to record their dry vocals. Their topic, “Mental Health Awareness,” allowed them to craft their own script and share their insights. The recording session was guided by renowned radio jockeys RJ Sarthak and RJ Kartik, who also awarded the students certificates for their participation. Their one-hour show will be aired live on 94.3 Radio One at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Celebrating the Phenomenal Triumphs of the Aggarwal Brothers in Olympiads
Join us in honoring the incredible accomplishments of Dhir Vikram Aggarwal and Neil Vikram Aggarwal, two young prodigies currently studying in Class IV and Class V respectively, who have consistently showcased exceptional talent and dedication in various Olympiad competitions.
Dhir Vikram Aggarwal’s stellar performance led him to secure an impressive National Rank 3 in the Unified International Math Olympiad (UIMO), earning him a prestigious cash prize of Rs 10,000, along with a medal and certificate. Meanwhile, Neil Vikram Aggarwal shone brightly with a remarkable National Rank 55, receiving a certificate, medal, and a gift voucher worth Rs 1998.In the Unified International English Olympiad (UIEO), both brothers achieved a commendable National Rank 7, demonstrating their outstanding proficiency in the English language. They were rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 1500 each, in addition to a medal, certificate, and a gift voucher worth Rs 1998.
Dhir Vikram Aggarwal continued his impressive streak by clinching another National Rank 7 in the Unified Cyber Olympiad (UCO), earning a cash prize of Rs 1000, along with a medal, certificate, and a gift voucher worth Rs 1998. Neil Vikram Aggarwal also made his mark with a National Rank 33, receiving similar accolades.
Both brothers achieved remarkable International Rank 2 and Zonal Rank 2 in the SOF-IMO Level I. Furthermore, Dhir Vikram Aggarwal excelled with a Zonal Rank 7 in Level 2, earning a reward of Rs 500.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dhir Vikram Aggarwal and Neil Vikram Aggarwal on their extraordinary achievements and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
Aarav Pandey of Class V Excels at NSTSE 2023
Aarav Pandey’s outstanding performance in the NSTSE 2023-24 Exam, conducted by the Unified Council for Grade 5, is truly commendable. He excelled in the examination, securing 92% marks and earning a place in the All India Top 100. Aarav’s achievement has been recognized with a Gold Medal, a gift voucher worth Rs.1998/-, and a Certificate of Excellence.
Although Aarav is no longer a part of the TIS community, we take pride in his impressive accomplishment during his time at the school, where he grew over the last six years. Aarav expressed his enduring pride in being associated with TISVV, and says he will remember the six wonderful years spent there.

Students Bag Second Prize at Ministry of Education's Everyday Science Contest
TIS, VV students participated in the Grand Finale of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell ‘Everyday Science’ Contest held on 9 April 2024.
Atharv Gaur and Tanisha Singh of Class XII C secured the second position for their presentation on the topic Thermodynamics. They have received a cash prize of ₹5000/- along with a certificate and a trophy. Congratulations Atharv and Tanisha !

These young changemakers showcased innovation, scalability, connection and changemaker quality in addressing pressing financial and societal challenges.
Congratulations to Tishya Chandok, a Grade X student from Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, for receiving the silver medallion for her remarkable project, ‘Flawless Flaws,’ dedicated to empowering acid attack survivors.
Tishya’s initiative has now expanded into Project आlok in collaboration with the Atijeevan Foundation, offering essential skill training to survivors through weekly online classes covering various aspects of empowerment.
