The Science, Social Science, and Math departments of our school, along with the faculty of Tagore International School, East of Kailash, attended a special workshop held at Tagore International School, East of Kailash on 16 September 2025. During the session, teachers carried out the excavation of choco chips from cookies. The activity began with pre-excavation observations, such as estimating choco chip distribution and calculating areas. During the excavation, participants identified patterns and recorded data. Post-excavation discussions included applying ratio, proportion, and pattern recognition, exploring scientific aspects of ingredients, and examining excavation processes from a Social Science perspective.
The workshop concluded with reflections on how such hands-on, interdisciplinary activities provide meaningful learning experiences and serve as an effective approach to experiential learning in classrooms.
