The Intra-Class Solo Spotlight (Mono Acting) Competition for Class II was held on Tuesday, 22 July 2025. Six talented students from each section were selected after a preliminary round. Each participant showcased impressive versatility by portraying two contrasting characters. Performances included iconic pairs like Mowgli-Sher Khan, Tom-Jerry, Sita-Surpanakha, Brian-Mobile, the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper, and scenes from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The young actors captivated the audience and judges with their expressive skills. The event was thoroughly enjoyable, and the judges, completely engrossed, found it challenging to declare the winners. Grade I students of Tagore International School embraced a day of joyful, hands-on learning without books! From building a “Naming Words Tree” in English to exploring shapes through Warli Art and ShapeScape in Math, every activity sparked curiosity. General Awareness turned playful with “Hands and Feet Hopscotch” and “Animal Handscapes,” while in Hindi, little learners explored “हमारी शब्दों की दुनिया” and enacted the story “धन्यवाद – एक जादुई शब्द”. It was a celebration of creativity, imagination, and experiential learning!
The Bagless Day of Class III was a vibrant celebration of experiential learning, art integration, and value education—where books took a backseat and imagination took the lead. The day began with ‘Pebbles of Positivity’, where children painted kindness stones, expressing empathy through colour and words.‘In Shape It Up’ 3D models helped them explore geometry in a hands-on way, while ‘Body Inside Out’ turned clay into internal organs, making science tactile and memorable. Art met culture in ‘Stories on the Table’ where students designed Warli-art-inspired table mats, and ‘Roots & Branches’ had them creating thoughtful family trees, blending identity with creativity.Math turned playful in ‘Flipping Through Numbers,’ as place value came alive through student-made flipbooks. In Hindi, they dived into ‘मात्राओं का खेल,’ building word knowledge with interactive wall hangings. Through ‘हमारे राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक,’ students explored the pride and meaning behind India’s national symbols. Healthy habits took center stage in ‘स्वस्थ भोजन, खुशहाल जीवन,’ where children discussed food rules for a better life. And with ‘प्यारे जानवर,’ puppets became storytellers—sharing fun facts about animals in a way that felt magical. No bags. No screens. Just joyful learning with heart, hands, and purpose.
Class II students immersed themselves in a vibrant, book-free day of experiential learning. The English activity- ‘Drama Dash’ brought stories to life through lively enactments, boosting confidence and expression. In Math, number sequencing took a tuneful turn with ‘Ordering Numbers’ through rhymes, making learning both rhythmic and fun. General Awareness came alive as children engaged in ‘Sense Exploration’ using toys and fruits—tapping into touch, smell, and taste. In Hindi, students connected with nature through ‘Pedho ka Mahatva,’ understanding the importance of trees through stories and discussions. What a day filled with discovery, joy, and hands-on exploration!
On 18 July 2025, Class I students participated in the Poetic Expressions, the English Poem Recitation Competition, bringing alive the themes ‘Mystery and Imagination,’ and ‘Helping Hands.’ Students enchanted the audience with expressive voice modulation, confident delivery, and powerful messages. Creative props—from fairy tale doors to magician hats and superhero masks, added vibrancy and earned extra credit. The event reflected the imaginative spirit and empathetic hearts of young learners, as they recited poems filled with wonder, courage, and kindness. It was a delightful display of talent, creativity, and expressive flair. Science Safari 2025–26 turned our campus into a vibrant hub of discovery, collaboration, and innovation. Students from Classes IV to XII engaged in hands-on experiments, live demonstrations inspired by Einstein, and forensic science challenges. Activities such as model building, baking science, and engineering contests nurtured creativity and teamwork. Artistic tasks like illustrating science idioms enhanced cross-disciplinary learning. Educational visits to AIIMS and Coca Cola factory, alongside expert-led sessions on data and forensic science, further deepened student understanding. The week-long celebration truly ignited curiosity and a passion for scientific exploration.
Showcase Spectacle, a fancy dress competition for Nursery students, was held on 15 July 2025. The event featured advertisements for various products as well as social messages, aiming to foster a sense of pride and appreciation—promoting kindness, respect, and awareness of social issues while encouraging positive change. The participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. From mind-blowing experiments to plane-making and industrial-themed displays, the energy and creativity were truly inspiring. Hats off to the Science Department for flawless execution! Adding to the excitement, Class XI students visited the Coca-Cola Happiness Factory in Greater Noida on 14 July 2025. They explored the brand’s journey, learned about production processes, and enjoyed interactive activities. Both experiences beautifully combined learning with fun, sparking curiosity and innovation among students.
On 7 and 8 May 2025, students from Classes I to V celebrated Rabindranath Jayanti with enthusiasm and admiration. Classes I and II enjoyed singing ‘Ekla Chalo Re,’ exploring stories like Kabuliwala, illustrating Tagore’s poems, and writing lines from Cloud and Waves. Classes III to V engaged in recitations, quizzes, podcasts, and creative writing like ‘If I were Tagore today…’. Activities like poem comprehension and national anthem discussions deepened their respect for Tagore’s legacy. The celebration fostered creativity, learning, and love for India’s literary icon.
Through the months of April and May, the initial SHIN programme sessions for Classes III, IV, and V were highly engaging and impactful, fostering spatial awareness, critical thinking, and collaboration. In Class III, students explored 3D shapes using cubes, enhancing memory, motor coordination, and visualisation through individual and paired activities. Class IV and V students worked in groups of three, using kits with cubes and shapes to solve hands-on challenges that encouraged problem-solving and teamwork. SHIN rules were introduced, and students were guided on using their activity books and materials effectively. Across all classes, the interactive nature of the sessions promoted creativity, peer learning, and enthusiastic participation, laying a strong foundation for future SHIN activities.
