On 18 October 2024, the Skill Club students had an insightful session as part of ‘What to Do When the Doctor is Not Around?’ led by Lt Col Sheetal Asija, a periodontist from the parent community. The interactive session aimed to equip students with essential knowledge about handling dental emergencies. Myths surrounding oral health were debunked, and practical tips for dealing with dental issues before reaching a specialist were shared. The students left the session with newfound confidence in managing dental emergencies, ensuring they know exactly what to do when a dentist isn’t immediately available.
Hasya Kavi Sammelan – An inter-house poem recitation competition was organised for Classes IX-XII on 12 September 2024 to celebrate Hindi Diwas. Each house had two participants, who had three minutes each to recite a self-composed poem incorporating wit and humour. The theme of the competition was “Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat”, emphasising unity and diversity in India. Participants showcased their creativity by incorporating enjoyable jokes while celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage. The event witnessed an impressive variety of performances, each highlighting different aspects of the nation’s unity. The competitors were both entertaining and thought-provoking, leaving the audience in splits of laughter .
