Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar hosted its biennial production ‘Once Upon a Lamp’ on 05 and 06 December 2025, marking two distinguished evenings of cultural excellence and community celebration. The school had the honour of welcoming H.E. Mr. Xu Feihong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to India, on Day 1, and Ms. Veditha Reddy, IAS, Director (Education & Sports), Delhi, on Day 2. Both guests highlighted the school motto, ‘I am worthy’, by emphasizing self-belief and participation over winning. A vibrant wave of constitutional spirit swept through the campus on 26 November 2025 as students from Class VI to Class XI immersed themselves in activities celebrating India’s democratic foundation. Quizzes, role play, podcasts, a Constitution maze game and a documentary screening offered varied, meaningful engagement. The Preamble was read in all classes, sparking thoughtful dialogue on liberty, justice and equality. A Constitution Tree displaying core ideals encouraged learners to reflect on values they connect with deeply. The celebration strengthened constitutional awareness and inspired a renewed commitment to democratic principles.
On 4 November 2025, the dextrous hands from various schools got together for an unparalleled Origami Competition ‘Sacred Folds: Yamato Meets Bharat’ at Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar. The event celebrated the fusion of Japanese precision and Indian imagination. Students and teachers showcased their artistry through intricate paper creations inspired by themes like Festivals of Light, Nature’s Harmony, Folk Tales in Folds, Tree of Knowledge, Warriors and Legends, Sacred Geometry, and Clever Creatures of Panchatantra. Each fold expressed a story from Japan’s timeless traditions to India’s cultural depth, reflecting creativity, mindfulness, and cross-cultural harmony. The event truly unfolded the spirit of patience, precision, and art.
On 17 October 2025, Flawless Flaws, in collaboration with the Brave Souls Foundation, hosted a heartwarming Diwali celebration honouring acid attack survivors. The event began with a creative quilling workshop where participants crafted intricate paper designs symbolising resilience and hope. A cheerful game of Tambola brought laughter and connection, followed by the creation of vibrant floral rangolis that added festive warmth to the day. The celebration beautifully reflected compassion, creativity, and the joy of shared humanity — reminding everyone that true festivals shine brightest when they embrace inclusivity and empathy.
The school celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm on 17 October 2025. The campus glowed with festive energy as students presented graceful dances and melodious songs, expressing meaningful messages and stories through their performances. A short quiz based on the Ramayana added an element of fun and learning, allowing students to recall the values associated with the festival. The event beautifully blended celebration with culture, filling the atmosphere with joy, light, and togetherness.
The school hosted Confluence: A Career Fair on 10 October 2025, opening doors to a world of possibilities for students of Classes IX–XII, along with some parents who attended to explore future pathways with their children. Students from neighbouring schools also participated, adding to the spirit of collaboration and shared learning.With over 35 leading universities from India and abroad, the fair offered rich insights into career pathways, scholarships, and academic opportunities.Eminent speakers — Dr. Bikarama Prasad Yadav, Mr. Vikram Patel, Mr. Rishabh Katyal, and Ms. Anushree Kumar — inspired young minds with their perspectives on innovation, global learning, liberal education, and personal growth.The fair not only broadened students’ horizons but also kindled their curiosity to carve meaningful futures with clarity and confidence.
The school celebrated Dussehra with zeal on 30 September 2025. The burning of Ravan’s effigy symbolised the triumph of good over evil and reminded everyone that pride greed and dishonesty are always defeated. The flames carried a message of truth humility and righteousness inspiring students to choose the right path in life. The event was not only a festive occasion but also a moment of reflection encouraging learners to strengthen their character with values that stand the test of time.
The book launch of ‘Colours You Did Not See’ by Ms. Dolly Nemii Mittal was held on 20 September 2025, celebrating themes of resilience, inclusion and the unseen shades of human experience. At the launch, the inclusive practices of Tagore International School were specially acknowledged and featured in the book. Representing the institution, Ms. Sachi Kathuria, School Counselor & Psychology Educator, shared insights on nurturing an inclusive culture, which received heartfelt appreciation. A special mention in the book stands as a testimony to the school’s commitment to inclusivity. The event was truly enriching and inspiring.
कक्षा 6 से 8 के विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन लघु नाटिका प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से किया, वहीं कक्षा 9 से 12 के विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी सृजनशीलता और विनोदप्रियता का परिचय हास्य कवि सम्मेलन में दिया।सभी प्रस्तुतियाँ न केवल रचनात्मक और मौलिक रहीं, बल्कि उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों की कल्पनाशक्ति और गहन चिंतन को भी उजागर किया।इस वर्ष प्रतियोगिता का विषय था –“परिवर्तन : बदलाव के रंग”जिसके अंतर्गत शिक्षा, तकनीक, भ्रष्टाचार और पर्यावरण जैसे समकालीन एवं गम्भीर मुद्दों को विद्यार्थियों ने बड़े ही सहज, रोचक और विचारोत्तेजक ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया।कार्यक्रम ने यह सन्देश दिया कि भाषा केवल संवाद का माध्यम ही नहीं, बल्कि परिवर्तन की वाहक और समाज को दिशा देने वाली शक्ति भी है।
The school organised Disha 8.0, an international online event under Project Saksham, showcasing creativity and talent across diverse categories. Participants from Canada and several Indian states enthusiastically presented their skills in Music, Dance, Art, and GRWM (Get Ready With Me). The event took place on 29 August and 30 August 2025 via Google Meet. The top three entries in each category were highlighted during the programme, while every participant received a certificate of participation. The event celebrated diversity, inclusion, and artistic brilliance with great spirit.
