Cultural Exchange Programme 2025 – A Journey Beyond Borders

The school organised the India–Uzbekistan Cultural Exchange Programme 2025, celebrating friendship, learning, and cultural harmony. Guests from Uzbekistan explored India’s vibrant heritage, traditions, and flavours while living with host families who truly embodied the Indian spirit of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’. The week-long exchange strengthened the bond between the two nations through shared experiences, warmth, and collaboration. Students visited landmarks such as the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Agra Fort, and Red Fort, gaining deeper insights into India’s history and diversity. The programme concluded with heartfelt gratitude and memories that will remain etched forever.

When Cultures Meet: French-Indian Exchange at TIS

Tagore International School hosted 30 students and 2 teachers from Les Chartreux, Lyon, France, from 10–17 October 2025. Our French guests dived into yoga, Bollywood dance, art, and Diwali celebrations, creating rangolis and Mandala bookmarks. They explored Delhi’s landmarks, savoured authentic Indian food, and spent three days soaking in Mukteshwar’s Himalayan beauty. This exchange was more than sightseeing—it was about friendships, shared experiences, and learning beyond the classroom. Both Indian and French students left inspired, with memories, stories, and a deeper appreciation of each other’s cultures.

Navodaya – Dawn of Unity, Path of Service

The District Interact Leadership Assembly, Navodaya – Dawn of Unity, Path of Service, held on 9 October 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, celebrated youth leadership, compassion, and community spirit. Distinguished guests — Mr Anand Kumar, Captain Yashika Hatwal Tyagi, and Ms Nandini Gupta — inspired young interactors with their stories of courage, perseverance, and self-belief. Students of Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, actively participated in the event, engaging with other Interact clubs and sharing their ideas for positive change. The event showcased impactful Interact projects from across the district, such as Jan Chetna, Thalassemia Awareness Drives, Supporting the Girl Child, and the launch of the Ignite Young Child Program. Each initiative reflected the shared commitment to building a more aware and inclusive society. The school showcased its impactful project Outlive Yourself, advocating organ donation and empathy. The event motivated students to lead with service, unity, and purpose.

Faculty Training Programme on Innovative Math Pedagogy

On 27 September 2025, math faculty of  IX to XII participated in a Faculty Training Programme at Hindu College. The session focused on three major aspects: the conceptual depth and interdisciplinary significance of prime numbers as cornerstones in emerging knowledge fields; the use of simulations to enliven abstract concepts and foster active learning; and the integration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to strengthen effective study habits. Blending theoretical insights, creative approaches, and practical resources, the programme empowered educators to enrich their teaching strategies and embrace technology for future-ready classrooms.

Amrit Udyan Visit: A Day with Nature

The school organised an educational trip to Amrit Udyan on 29 August 2024 for the students of Class VIII. The visit provided an enriching experience, blending learning with recreation. Students admired the diverse flora, including exquisite roses and artistically designed bonsai plants. The coinciding rain enhanced the charm, bringing out vibrant hues and filling the air with freshness. A leisurely nature walk through the lush surroundings enabled students to appreciate the variety of plants and enjoy the serene environment. The visit left lasting impressions, making the day memorable, inspiring and truly engaging.

Experiential Learning at Mother Dairy

The school organised a visit to Mother Dairy Plant for students of Class XI A and Class XII A (Commerce Stream) on 9 September 2025. The visit offered practical exposure to industrial operations, including milk processing, quality control, packaging and distribution. Students learned about hygiene, modern technology and supply chain efficiency. The interactive session emphasized supporting farmers, sustainability and India’s cooperative movement. Curious students actively engaged with the officials, connecting classroom knowledge in Business Studies and Economics to real-world practices. The visit inspired students to explore careers in agribusiness, food technology, and cooperative enterprises.

Twinning Cultural Exchange Programme 2025-26

The school was honoured to be the guest institution at the Twinning Cultural Exchange Programme 2025-26, hosted by Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, R.K. Puram, Sector 13, on 19 August ,2025 under the aegis of the Delhi Directorate of Education and Samagra Shiksha. Students of Classes VI to VIII participated in a day filled with interaction, sports, debate and dance, nurturing unity and respect through shared experiences. The programme celebrated diversity while fostering friendships and intellectual growth. Heartfelt gratitude was extended to the host school for their warm hospitality and thoughtful organisation of this enriching event.

Flames of Change: Students Witness the French Revolution on Stage

The school organised an educational visit for the students of Class IX to Kamani Auditorium on 21 August,2025 to watch Flames of Change: The French Revolution – Reimagined, presented by History Diaries. The play highlighted the contrasting lives of the clergy, nobility and the hardships of the third estate, making history vivid and engaging. Events such as the storming of the Bastille, the Reign of Terror, and the Declaration of the Rights of Man were powerfully staged. Authentic costumes and lighting recreated 18th-century France. Students appreciated the performance for bringing classroom concepts alive through drama and creativity.

Heritage Walk to Mehrauli Archaeological Park

The school organised an immersive heritage walk titled ‘Story Tellers’ for students of Class VII on 8 August, 2025 at the Mehrauli Archaeological Park. Spanning over 200 acres, the park revealed more than a thousand years of Delhi’s history. Students explored magnificent tombs, ancient gateways and historic stepwells while learning about the Delhi Sultanate, Mughal craftsmanship, and British-era influences. Each monument came alive through engaging narratives, enriching their understanding of the past. The walk concluded with students carrying a renewed sense of pride and commitment towards preserving India’s cultural heritage.

Class VI Educational Visit to the National Museum

The students of Class VI visited the National Museum in New Delhi on 7 and 8 August, 2025 for an enriching educational experience. Divided into groups, they explored galleries on the Harappan Civilization, inscriptions, ancient coins, royal dynasties and Buddhist and Jain heritage. Knowledgeable guides explained the significance of each section, offering meaningful insights into India’s cultural and historical journey. The visit concluded with a documentary that connected the exhibits to broader historical themes. The experience inspired curiosity, broadened perspectives and encouraged appreciation for the nation’s diverse heritage beyond classroom learning.
