Empowering the Specially Abled at the “Run for Inclusion” On 9 November 2024, 37 enthusiastic students and two teachers from our school proudly participated in the “Run for Inclusion” organized by Special Olympics Bharat at Nehru Park, New Delhi. The marathon, open to participants from all walks of life, began at 7 a.m. with MP Mr. Manoj Tiwari flagging off the eventand delivering an inspiring speech that motivated the young runners. The students were also encouraged by Ms. Bansuri Swaraj, MP, who joined the event later, further boosting their morale. This inclusive run aimed to spread awareness and foster a sense of unity among diverse groups, embodying the values of teamwork and community that our school strongly upholds.
Celebrating Sportsmanship and Camaraderie On 25 October 2024, the Junior Athletic Meet was organised for students from Nursery to Class V, an event that united students, grandparents, and teachers in a lively celebration of sports. The day commenced with a torch relay led by four top athletes, symbolizing unity and the spirit of sportsmanship. Young athletes participated in relays, obstacle courses, and sprints, showing their enthusiasm and skills. Teachers and grandparents joined in the activities, fostering camaraderie and encouragement. A highlight of the event was the motivational speech by Mr. Shaji Prabhakaran, former FIFA South Central Asia Development Officer, who inspired everyone with stories of resilience in sports.
