Earth Day

On 22 April 2025, students of Classes I to V celebrated Earth Day by enthusiastically participating in eco-friendly activities. Class I led a cleanliness drive, spreading awareness about hygiene. Class II designed and proudly wore Earth Day badges. Class III showcased creativity by making pen stands from upcycled plastic bottles. Class IV built toys using recycled materials, promoting sustainable play. Meanwhile, Class V crafted beautiful terrariums, highlighting the importance of green spaces.
The celebration inspired responsibility and love for the planet in every young heart. With renewed determination, they pledged to continue their efforts to live sustainably and to inspire others to join them in caring for our planet, not just on Earth Day, but every day.
Also, the school’s Social Science Department and Eco Club celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm. Students from Classes VI to XII participated in meaningful activities promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. Highlights included upcycled utility bags, creative projects from recycled materials, an SDG expert session, and a SDG awareness walk.
The Eco Club showcased awareness videos and a plastic waste model display. Through these initiatives, Tagoreans embodied the spirit of ‘I AM THE CHANGE THAT I WISH TO SEE,’ fostering a sense of responsibility towards the planet.
