An engaging session on table manners and dining etiquette was conducted for the students of Class V, where they actively participated and learned valuable social skills. They learnt essential skills such as proper use of cutlery, correct grip and cutting techniques, and the ‘fork to mouth’ rule. Through guided practice and hands-on activities, they explored opening and closing plates, using napkins correctly, and waiting politely before eating. Magic words and a fun quiz on manners added to the interactive experience. As part of art integration, the students created personalised dining mats featuring Mandala, Madhubani, and Warli art. The session blending Value Education encouraged students to apply these skills at home, fostering confidence and courtesy in social dining situations.
