The members of Girl Up TISVV participated in a pad donation and hygiene awareness drive in collaboration with Hamari Pehchaan NGO. The visit was conducted in an underprivileged area where access to hygiene products is limited. Students distributed sanitary pads and interacted with women and community members to discuss menstrual hygiene, financial challenges, and social stigma. The conversations provided meaningful insights into the realities of period poverty and strengthened their resolve to contribute to positive change. The experience encouraged awareness, compassion, and sustained efforts toward accessibility, dignity, and informed choices.
