Students of Class V experienced an unforgettable adventure at Dudhwa National Park from 02 to 05 December 2025, where they were sensitised to the beauty and fragility of the jungle ecosystem. The camp offered thrilling dares and real wilderness challenges as they weathered the woods and orientated through the wild using detailed route maps. Captivating legends of the region and powerful stories of survival instinct added depth to their learning. Staying in tents, enjoying a warm campfire, and visiting a tribal village near the Indo-Nepal border enriched their understanding of local culture. A unique congregation of rare and near-extinct species of flora and fauna, an exciting jeep safari, and the joy of spotting animals in their natural habitat made the experience indelible. Delectable camp food and shared responsibilities strengthened teamwork and independence. It was indeed a trio of a lifetime!
The Rotary Club conducted an insightful workshop titled Mind Over Matter – Managing Stress and Staying Focused in a Noisy World for students of Class VIII at Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar. The session helped learners understand stress, recognise triggers, and explore practical ways to improve concentration and emotional balance. The resource person explained techniques such as mindfulness, journaling, grounding practices, and controlled breathing. Students participated in an interactive “Focus Challenge” that demonstrated how distractions influence attention. The workshop concluded with reflective feedback, reinforcing the message: Your mind is your strongest tool—train it, don’t tame it.
The school organised a Career Talk Session on Luxury Brand Management on 19 November 2025 for students of Class XI and Class XII. Ms Neha Mittal, luxury strategist and faculty at Pearl Academy, guided students through the expanding luxury sector. She explained brand DNA, consumer behaviour, heritage value, and strategic communication. Students also learnt about roles in luxury marketing, retail, digital branding, and entrepreneurship. A collaborative activity allowed them to design imaginative cross-brand concepts, enhancing their understanding of aesthetics and positioning. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A that offered clarity and motivation.
Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar hosted its biennial production ‘Once Upon a Lamp’ on 05 and 06 December 2025, marking two distinguished evenings of cultural excellence and community celebration. The school had the honour of welcoming H.E. Mr. Xu Feihong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to India, on Day 1, and Ms. Veditha Reddy, IAS, Director (Education & Sports), Delhi, on Day 2. Both guests highlighted the school motto, ‘I am worthy’, by emphasizing self-belief and participation over winning. The resource person, Mr. Jitin Chawla, Founder & Director, Centre for Career Development, guided learners through Internship Readiness, Research Orientation, and Patent & Innovation Awareness. Students explored effective profile building, primary and secondary data, and the essentials of developing original ideas. The interaction encouraged learners to identify meaningful research topics, pursue innovative projects, and strengthen their academic portfolios. Students of Class I showcased their creativity on 28 November 2025 during the ‘Shape It Up: Tangram Design’ Intra-Class Competition. Working with their own tangram sets, they designed impressive figures based on the themes Shape-a-Zoo and Up in the Sky. Children created wonderful animals like cats, fish, bats, turtles, kangaroos, bears and giraffes, while others crafted sky-themed designs such as helicopters, aeroplanes, birds, rockets and stars. The Math Quiz conducted on 26 November 2025, paid a special tribute to India’s great mathematicians, Ramanujan and Aryabhatta, whose extraordinary ideas continue to inspire learners even today. Students of Class V showcased strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they moved through the General Calculation Round, Visual Round, Buzzer, and Rapid Fire Round. Each round tested their speed, logic, and confidence, bringing out their competitive spirit. The lively atmosphere, quick thinking, and enthusiastic participation reflected the curiosity and brilliance that great mathematicians embodied. The students of Class III enthusiastically participated in an exciting Intraclass Math Quiz Competition held on 24 November 2025. The event aimed to strengthen numerical skills, build confidence, and encourage quick mental calculations. Children showcased remarkable teamwork, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities through various rounds covering number sense, patterns, logic and everyday math. On 26 and 27 November 2025, the Nursery students showcased their storytelling abilities in the ‘Little Puppeteers’ intraclass competition. The young narrators captivated the audience with their imaginative stories, colourful puppets, expressive gestures, and vibrant costumes.
