The school has been nurturing voices of compassion and understanding. On 13 October 2025, students from Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar and East of Kailash joined hands to conduct a Gender sensitisation session for the caregivers of Salaam Baalak Trust. Through engaging activities and reflective dialogue, participants explored themes of respect, diversity, allyship, and inclusion. The session encouraged open conversations around acceptance and the importance of creating safe spaces. This meaningful collaboration offered powerful insights, reaffirming the shared commitment to building a more inclusive, empathetic, and united community—one conversation at a time.

The session also emphasised calm and appropriate responses to concerning situations while adhering to guidelines under the POCSO Act. The interactive session was appreciated for its relevance and practical approach.

A Project-Based Learning session was organised for students of Class VI on 13 October 2025 on the topic Exploring How Light Reacts with Everyday Materials. Students participated in engaging experiments using mirrors, transparent sheets, and opaque objects to observe how light behaves with different materials. They explored the concepts of reflection and identified transparent, translucent, and opaque substances. The activity encouraged inquiry, observation, and analysis, helping learners connect scientific principles to everyday life and deepening their understanding of how light interacts with various surfaces.
On 15 May 2025, the junior Inter-House Competition Extempore put participants’ quick thinking and speaking skills to the test. With just one minute to prepare and two minutes to speak, participants delivered compelling and spontaneous speeches on a variety of topics. From descriptive scenarios to sharp arguments, each speaker showcased confidence, clarity, and quick thinking. The competition celebrated the power of speech and the art of expressing ideas under pressure. As the event concluded, it was clear that Extempore showcased not only the participants’ ability to think fast but the courage to speak up. An Inter-House Competition, Green Scene, was conducted for classes VI–VIII on Wednesday, 30 July 2025. In this creative and socially conscious event, each house produced an original movie trailer in English, centered around a mental health theme assigned to them. The trailers, ranging from 1.5 to 2 minutes, were judged on creativity, message impact, visual presentation, and technical execution. Participants were required to use original or royalty-free content, and showcase a credit slide acknowledging their team and roles. The Inter-House Competition ‘Fusion: Music and Dance’ was held on Friday, 8 August 2025, for students of Classes VI to XII. The event showcased dynamic performances combining music, dance, and poetry on the theme ‘Main Bharat Hoon, Main Badlaav Hoon’. Each house presented an 8–10 minute performance creatively integrating the assigned house color, values, and the core message of transformation and identity. On 8 October 2025, students of Classes IV and V participated in an engaging story session by author Mr. Kanav Agnihotri, who narrated his latest tale, ‘Super Sharkaru and the Solar Storm.’ The adventurous story combined imagination with awareness about space phenomena and environmental concerns, encouraging students to think about the impact of pollution beyond Earth. A screening of the animated images brought the story vividly to life, while a fun role-play activity allowed students to step into the characters’ shoes. The session ended with excitement and curiosity about Sharkaru’s future adventures.
As a part of Breaking Barriers under the We Care initiative, the students conducted a Gender Sensitization Session at Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, Subroto Park on 8 October 2025. The session aimed to foster awareness, empathy, and equality through interactive discussions and reflective activities. Participants from Class XI explored stereotypes, examined unconscious biases, and shared insightful perspectives on inclusion and respect. The engaging dialogue concluded with the message that every individual deserves equal opportunities and dignity. The facilitators were appreciated for their confident communication and meaningful interaction.
The District Interact Leadership Assembly, Navodaya – Dawn of Unity, Path of Service, held on 9 October 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, celebrated youth leadership, compassion, and community spirit. Distinguished guests — Mr Anand Kumar, Captain Yashika Hatwal Tyagi, and Ms Nandini Gupta — inspired young interactors with their stories of courage, perseverance, and self-belief. Students of Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, actively participated in the event, engaging with other Interact clubs and sharing their ideas for positive change. The event showcased impactful Interact projects from across the district, such as Jan Chetna, Thalassemia Awareness Drives, Supporting the Girl Child, and the launch of the Ignite Young Child Program. Each initiative reflected the shared commitment to building a more aware and inclusive society. The school showcased its impactful project Outlive Yourself, advocating organ donation and empathy. The event motivated students to lead with service, unity, and purpose.
