CodeConnect: A Fusion of Tech and Patriotism

The school organised an engaging CodeConnect session on 2 August, 2025 for students from Hamari Pehchan and Jaagriti under the Sehpaathi initiative. The session began with an introduction to HTML, offering students their first hands-on experience with coding. TIS volunteers guided them as they explored basic tags and web elements. The learning continued with a creative activity on Canva, where students designed Independence Day cards, blending digital skills with national pride. The session was filled with enthusiasm, imagination and inspiration, concluding with heartfelt presentations and a collective sense of accomplishment.

Dupatta Painting Workshop with Survivors

The school organised a dupatta painting workshop in collaboration with Flawless Flaws on 23 August, 2025, bringing together acid attack survivors and students. The session continued from the earlier fabric painting activity held on 2 August, helping participants practise and explore creative techniques. With bright shades and detailed designs, each dupatta reflected courage, resilience, and individuality. The workshop not only nurtured artistic expression but also built bonds of empathy and strength. By the end, the painted fabrics became symbols of empowerment, proving that art can heal, inspire, and unite.

The Power of Learning and Unlearning

On 27 August, students of Class XI attended a thought-provoking session on Learning and Development – The Power of Unlearning by Mr. Lucky Puchhrat, a sought-after speaker and seminar leader with HT Media for nearly a decade. He highlighted the role of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and perseverance. Through mythology, real-life stories, and examples like Steve Jobs, he inspired students to unlearn limiting patterns, embrace resilience, and take small steps toward meaningful success.

Junk to Joy: Creativity in Bloom

The KG students enthusiastically participated in ‘Junk to Joy’, a ‘Best out of Waste’,competition on Friday, 29 August 2025. With the theme ‘Garden’, they used materials like bottle caps, toffee wrappers, pencil shavings and ice cream sticks to design colourful garden scenes. They created beautiful flowers, butterflies and tiny decorations, showcasing their creativity and imagination. This activity not only made learning fun but also helped the children understand the importance of reusing and recycling to care for nature. WHEN CREATIVITY MEETS CURRICULUM: ART INTEGRATION WORKSHOP

On 30 August 2025, teachers from Nursery to Class V enthusiastically participated in a workshop based on Art Integration led by CBSE resource persons, Ms Neera Chopra and Ms Gauri Sen. The workshop highlighted the importance of art-enhanced learning, art as a curriculum, and art-integrated learning in line with NEP 2020. Teachers explored how art can be seamlessly woven into subjects, making learning joyful and experiential. Fun activities like creating a rap song on one theme across subjects emphasized process over product. The workshop also showcased how even the human body can serve as a teaching aid and learning tool. It inspired participants to use creativity as a bridge to deeper understanding and holistic development.

Rhythm and Brushstrokes: Echoes of Indian Art

On 29 August 2025, Class V participated in the Intra-Class Competition, Rhythm & Brushstrokes, which turned into a vibrant celebration of India’s artistic heritage. Students showcased their research and creativity by presenting diverse visual and performing arts, from Lord Jagannath of Puri, Madhubani and Patachitra of Odisha, to Giddha of Punjab, Karnataka folk, Gond and Warli art. With engaging stories, catchy jingles, colourful props, and lively performances, the participants amazed the audience and judges alike. The event was a delightful blend of art integration, knowledge, talent, and cultural pride. Forging Young Leaders at Leadership Training Camp 2025

Leadership is not merely about guiding others—it begins with self-awareness. To instill this philosophy, a Leadership Training Camp was organized on Saturday, 23 August 2025, at Delta 105, Gurugram, for the Student Council members of Classes VIII, XI, and XII. The day commenced with an insightful session by Mr Rohit Kumar, who is an educator, author, and training specialist with 30 years of experience conducting unique, high-impact workshops and training seminars on emotional intelligence and personality types. He is known for his workshops that encourage introspection and self-discovery. This was followed by simulation and adventure-based activities that strengthened teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. The camp concluded with students emerging more confident, better connected, and deeply committed to their leadership journeys.

Scholastic Book Fair: A Celebration of Reading

The school organised the Scholastic Book Fair from 21 August, 2025 to 23 August, 2025 for students of Class I to Class XII. The fair displayed an impressive range of books, from colourful picture stories for young learners to inspiring novels and insightful non-fiction for senior students. The atmosphere was lively as students explored different genres, discovered new authors, and exchanged recommendations. Parents and teachers actively participated, making the event vibrant and engaging. The fair truly promoted a love for books and encouraged students to expand their imagination and knowledge through reading.

Twinning Cultural Exchange Programme 2025-26

The school was honoured to be the guest institution at the Twinning Cultural Exchange Programme 2025-26, hosted by Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, R.K. Puram, Sector 13, on 19 August ,2025 under the aegis of the Delhi Directorate of Education and Samagra Shiksha. Students of Classes VI to VIII participated in a day filled with interaction, sports, debate and dance, nurturing unity and respect through shared experiences. The programme celebrated diversity while fostering friendships and intellectual growth. Heartfelt gratitude was extended to the host school for their warm hospitality and thoughtful organisation of this enriching event.

Alumnus Rishabh Suri Inspires Students with a Story of Purpose and Passion

The school organised an engaging session on 22 August, 2025 with distinguished alumnus, Mr. Rishabh Suri, Founder & Chief Everything Officer of Qudrat. He inspired students by sharing his journey of resilience. From leaving Chartered Accountancy to founding an eco-conscious enterprise transforming agricultural waste into sustainable packaging. He spoke about the power of perseverance, entrepreneurial thinking and finding joy in hobbies. With Qudrat now impacting over 30,000 customers across 9 countries, Mr. Suri’s story left students of Classes IX to XII motivated to pursue their dreams with courage, commitment and creativity.
