The school organised a PBL session for Class VII on 9 October 2025 based on the topic Geometry Shapes and Angles Challenge. Students explored geometric concepts through the engaging ‘Taping Method’ on sheets, forming and identifying angles such as acute, obtuse, right, straight and reflex. They also created and studied shapes like triangles, quadrilaterals, rectangles, squares, and trapezium, learning their unique properties. The hands-on activity strengthened their understanding, improved problem-solving skills, and encouraged critical thinking. Active participation made the session both enjoyable and meaningful.
The school organised a hands-on training session on handling firefighting equipment on 8 October 2025. Conducted by Mr Umesh Walia, a seasoned firefighting expert, the session aimed to enhance emergency preparedness. Student members of the School Safety Committee, bus drivers, conductors, and support staff actively participated in the workshop. Mr Walia explained the acronym FIRE — Find, Inform, Restrict, and Extinguish — to simplify the process of firefighting. Participants practised using ABC-type extinguishers effectively by aiming at the base of the fire and successfully doused controlled flames during the drill.

On 15 May 2025, the senior Inter-House Competition Ru-B-Ru brought iconic characters from different universes together for an interview on the topic ‘Do We Still Need Schools if Everyone Learns from YouTube?’ Personalities you’d never imagine in the same room took the stage to share their thoughts; where Harvey Specter met Michael Scott and Barbie met Wednesday. Actors portrayed their characters with flair, blending insightful questions and witty responses. As the curtain fell, Ru-B-Ru left its mark as a celebration of creativity and critical thinking, reminding us that great ideas thrive when worlds collide. The school celebrated Dussehra with zeal on 30 September 2025. The burning of Ravan’s effigy symbolised the triumph of good over evil and reminded everyone that pride greed and dishonesty are always defeated. The book launch of ‘Colours You Did Not See’ by Ms. Dolly Nemii Mittal was held on 20 September 2025, celebrating themes of resilience, inclusion and the unseen shades of human experience. At the launch, the inclusive practices of Tagore International School were specially acknowledged and featured in the book. Representing the institution, Ms. Sachi Kathuria, School Counselor & Psychology Educator, shared insights on nurturing an inclusive culture, which received heartfelt appreciation. The Science, Social Science, and Math departments of our school, along with the faculty of Tagore International School, East of Kailash, attended a special workshop held at Tagore International School, East of Kailash on 16 September 2025. During the session, teachers carried out the excavation of choco chips from cookies. The activity began with pre-excavation observations, such as estimating choco chip distribution and calculating areas. During the excavation, participants identified patterns and recorded data. Post-excavation discussions included applying ratio, proportion, and pattern recognition, exploring scientific aspects of ingredients, and examining excavation processes from a Social Science perspective.The workshop concluded with reflections on how such hands-on, interdisciplinary activities provide meaningful learning experiences and serve as an effective approach to experiential learning in classrooms.
On 27 September 2025, math faculty of IX to XII participated in a Faculty Training Programme at Hindu College. The session focused on three major aspects: the conceptual depth and interdisciplinary significance of prime numbers as cornerstones in emerging knowledge fields; the use of simulations to enliven abstract concepts and foster active learning; and the integration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to strengthen effective study habits. Blending theoretical insights, creative approaches, and practical resources, the programme empowered educators to enrich their teaching strategies and embrace technology for future-ready classrooms.
Students of Class IV engaged in a series of creative and enriching activities across subjects. In Mathematics, they explored geometry through Polygon Remix, where simple polygons were combined to form complex figures, and Tessella Twist, in which tessellating patterns were transformed into artistic designs. In EVS, imagination took centre stage with Animal Talk Show, where pairs enacted fun conversations and Food Tales on a Stick, using puppetry to showcase animals and their diets. English learning came alive through comic strips, where students skilfully used quantifiers in dialogues. The activities encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and joyful learning across disciplines.
Toon Parade, the nursery intra-class character portrayal competition was held on 25 September 2025 with the theme ‘Cartoon Characters.’ The event aimed to provide young learners with an opportunity to express their creativity, build self-confidence, and strengthen their communication skills. The tiny tots came dressed as their favourite cartoon characters in vibrant costumes with props. Their lively expressions and enthusiastic portrayals added charm to the event.
