The school organized an Art and Craft Workshop for Class III and IV students on 19 November 2025 to introduce students to the creative world of origami. The session was conducted by Ms. Ritu Bajaj of Hindustan Times, children learned to make beautiful paper flowers through step-by-step guidance from their teachers. The workshop encouraged hands-on learning, improved fine motor skills, and enhanced concentration as students experimented with colourful paper and different folding techniques. The classroom atmosphere was filled with excitement and curiosity as each child transformed simple paper sheets into artistic floral creations. An engaging Author Talk session by Ms. Devika Anand Gupta, author of the newly launched children’s book ‘Captain Scowl’ was held at Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar for students of Class II and III on 21 November 2025. Ms. Gupta captivated the young audience with an interactive storytelling session, bringing the character of Captain Scowl to life through expressive narration and lively discussion. She spoke about the inspiration behind her book, the creative writing process, and the importance of expressing emotions through stories. The morning of 24 November 2025 brought an element of surprise as the auditorium buzzed with excitement. The students of Classes IV and V enjoyed an enchanting magic show filled with fun and laughter. From dazzling card tricks to a fluffy white mouse and a graceful white dove, every act brought cheers from the audience. Colourful kerchiefs danced in the air, and a burnt tissue magically turned into a currency note, leaving everyone amazed. The magician’s warm and friendly nature encouraged both teachers and students to join him on stage, adding to the fun. It was a morning of pure delight, wonder, and unforgettable moments for all.
Students of Class IV had an exciting and educational trip to Ranthambhore from 13 November to 15 November 2025, where they explored the beauty of nature and gained valuable knowledge outside the classroom. The thrilling jungle safari allowed them to witness various wild animals in their natural habitat and appreciate the importance of wildlife conservation. A visit to the majestic Ranthambhore Fort offered fascinating insights into its rich history, heritage, and architectural brilliance. The students were captivated by the breath taking views and the stories associated with the fort. Class III students went on a two-day educational trip to Chandigarh on 14 and 15 November 2025. They explored the Rock Garden, enjoyed the beauty of Sukhna Lake, and observed wildlife at Chattbir Zoo. Little Puppeteers, the KG English and Hindi storytelling competition, was held on November 17 and 18, 2025. Tagore International School conducted a Subject Expert Session for Class XII Computer Science on 17 November 2025, led by Ms Shikha Shah, HOD – Computer Science, TIS EOK.The session offered students a clear understanding of the Board examination pattern, including the basic structure of the question paper, sure-shot and tricky questions, and the role of case studies. Emphasis was placed on consistent writing practice, revisiting Class XI concepts, and the indispensable value of NCERT and previous year papers. A Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on Happy Classrooms was conducted on 2 November 2025. CBSE Resource Person, Ms. Neha Dhyani, from our school, took the session at Bal Bharati Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg, Delhi. The workshop focused on creating positive, emotionally supportive, and engaging learning environments that promote student well-being and holistic development. This initiative from the school reflects its strong culture of internal expertise, where educators are encouraged to share their knowledge and experience, helping them grow professionally while enriching others around them. The session inspired teachers to adopt empathy and emotional intelligence in classrooms.
On the occasion of Children’s Day, our school initiative, Sehpaathi organised a meaningful Donation Drive and Community Interaction Session for the less privileged children living in Coolie Camp, Munirka. Volunteers interacted warmly with the children and helped them explore basic computer skills, allowing many to type their names for the first time. Stationery kits were then distributed, bringing evident happiness. Later, the volunteers accompanied the children to a nearby park for an engaging drawing activity conducted with Hamari Pehchan NGO. The day concluded with a cheerful cake-cutting moment, creating memorable experiences and reinforcing the spirit of care and learning.
