The Intra-Class Solo Spotlight (Mono Acting) Competition for Class II was held on Tuesday, 22 July 2025. Six talented students from each section were selected after a preliminary round. Each participant showcased impressive versatility by portraying two contrasting characters. Performances included iconic pairs like Mowgli-Sher Khan, Tom-Jerry, Sita-Surpanakha, Brian-Mobile, the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper, and scenes from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The young actors captivated the audience and judges with their expressive skills. The event was thoroughly enjoyable, and the judges, completely engrossed, found it challenging to declare the winners. Grade I students of Tagore International School embraced a day of joyful, hands-on learning without books! From building a “Naming Words Tree” in English to exploring shapes through Warli Art and ShapeScape in Math, every activity sparked curiosity. General Awareness turned playful with “Hands and Feet Hopscotch” and “Animal Handscapes,” while in Hindi, little learners explored “हमारी शब्दों की दुनिया” and enacted the story “धन्यवाद – एक जादुई शब्द”. The Bagless Day of Class III was a vibrant celebration of experiential learning, art integration, and value education—where books took a backseat and imagination took the lead. The day began with ‘Pebbles of Positivity’, where children painted kindness stones, expressing empathy through colour and words.‘In Shape It Up’ 3D models helped them explore geometry in a hands-on way, while ‘Body Inside Out’ turned clay into internal organs, making science tactile and memorable. Art met culture in ‘Stories on the Table’ where students designed Warli-art-inspired table mats, and ‘Roots & Branches’ had them creating thoughtful family trees, blending identity with creativity.Math turned playful in ‘Flipping Through Numbers,’ as place value came alive through student-made flipbooks. In Hindi, they dived into ‘मात्राओं का खेल,’ building word knowledge with interactive wall hangings. Through ‘हमारे राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक,’ students explored the pride and meaning behind India’s national symbols. Healthy habits took center stage in ‘स्वस्थ भोजन, खुशहाल जीवन,’ where children discussed food rules for a better life. And with ‘प्यारे जानवर,’ puppets became storytellers—sharing fun facts about animals in a way that felt magical. No bags. No screens. Just joyful learning with heart, hands, and purpose.
As part of the school’s ‘We Care’ initiative, the Flawless Flaws team visited Brave Souls Foundation, a rehabilitation centre for acid attack survivors. Held on 22 July 2025, the visit began with heartfelt interactions that reflected resilience and hope. A therapeutic clay fridge magnet-making workshop provided a creative outlet, helping participants express themselves through art. The survivors’ warmth and strength left a lasting impression, strengthening the team’s resolve to foster inclusivity and empowerment. This experience was not just about creating art, but also about building connections, listening to stories, and being inspired by the human spirit.
A Cyber Safety Awareness Workshop was conducted on 22 July 2025 for students of Classes XI and XII. The session was led by HC Suresh and HC Samay Singh from the Cyber Security and Safety Cell, Delhi Police. The experts educated students on various aspects of online safety, including the importance of protecting personal data, identifying phishing attempts, cyberbullying, ethical digital conduct, and the legal consequences of cybercrimes. Real-life case studies and interactive discussions helped students understand the dangers of careless online behaviour and the steps to ensure safe digital citizenship. The workshop reinforced the need for responsible internet use, emphasizing the golden rule of cyber safety: ‘Think Before You Click.’ We remain committed to creating a safe and aware learning environment and equipping our students with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the digital world responsibly.
Class II students immersed themselves in a vibrant, book-free day of experiential learning. The English activity- ‘Drama Dash’ brought stories to life through lively enactments, boosting confidence and expression. In Math, number sequencing took a tuneful turn with ‘Ordering Numbers’ through rhymes, making learning both rhythmic and fun. General Awareness came alive as children engaged in ‘Sense Exploration’ using toys and fruits—tapping into touch, smell, and taste. In Hindi, students connected with nature through ‘Pedho ka Mahatva,’ understanding the importance of trees through stories and discussions. On 21 July 2025, Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, hosted a mesmerizing SPIC MACAY event featuring the acclaimed vocalist Vidhushi Meeta Pandit Ji of the Gwalior Gharana, accompanied by Vinay Mishra Ji on harmonium and Shailendra Mishra Ji on tabla. The performance beautifully connected the audience with India’s classical heritage. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Students and staff were deeply inspired by the rich tapestry of music, culture, and emotion shared during this unforgettable experience.
TIS,VV celebrated Pi Day with a series of engaging, hands-on activities across Classes VI to XII. From Pi-themed paper chains, bracelets, skyline art, riddles, and digit memorization to a pi song and rap, students explored the mathematical constant with enthusiasm and creativity. All classes enjoyed a short comedy movie on π. These activities helped students understand the concept, significance, and real-world applications of π, while developing problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
