Rakhi Celebrations on 03 August 2020

Festivals are the celebration of togetherness in India. They play an important role to build a society where positive values flourish and the spirit of co-operation prevails. Festivals are celebrated with a lot of zest and spirit in India. Rakshabandhan is a festival that encompasses the warmth shared between the siblings but in the current times it goes way beyond it. Today, it signifies a peaceful co-existence of individuals. Rakhi Utsav was also popularized by Rabindranath Tagore to promote the feeling of unity and a commitment amongst all members of society to protect each other and encourage a harmonious social life.

This year, keeping the present situation in mind, we at Tagore International School celebrated this festival commemorating the selfless service, magnanimity and courage of our Armed Forces , Police , Doctors and Health Care Workers by sending them heartfelt messages through an e-card.
