Computer Prowess–An Intra Class Competition for Classes I-V (January 2024)

In today’s world of ever advancing technology, youngsters have proven to be the quickest learners. Students of the primary wing pitted their digital skills against each other in Computer Prowess – an intra-class competition held In January 2024 spanning Classes I-V and based on “Mission Chandrayaan”. It was a fusion of technology and creativity as students undertook diverse challenges tailored to their respective grade levels.

Class I students embarked on a visual journey, employing the tools of MS Paint to design captivating “Outer Space Adventure/Space Scenes” and brought the cosmos to life on their digital canvases. Moving up, Class II students expressed their appreciation for ISRO’s scientists and engineers by designing posters themed “Celebrating India on Moon” using OO04Kids-Writer. Class III was given the challenge of creating animated tales using Scratch 3.0 Programming. Their imaginative narratives centered around “Mission Chandrayaan – Journey to Moon,” using a fusion of coding skills and storytelling. Class IV students showcased their presentation skills by developing detailed PowerPoint presentations on “Mission Chandrayaan: India’s Journey to the Moon.” Tasked with developing games using KODU Game Lab on the topic “Chandrayaan-3: A Cosmic Maze,” Class V combined coding and game design to deliver engaging and educational experiences.

The competition witnessed spirited participation, displaying the students’ passion for technology . The panel of judges was left spellbound by the imagination and creativity displayed by the students. Each class brought forth its own unique perspective, contributing to an integrated celebration of technology and innovation. It was an exciting way to learn new skills and also demonstrated the school’s commitment to nurturing diverse talents.
