From vibrant rangolis in the corridors to the decorated diyas in the classrooms, Diwali 2022 was welcomed with festive gusto in Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar.
The spirit of good over evil came alive, when our students( including six special needs children) used their musical talents to highlight the importance and relevance of Green Diwali. Besides sensitizing students about the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared guidelines for environment-friendly options while celebrating Diwali. Various other activities like rangoli making, diya decoration and poster making competitions were held in the middle school throughout the week.
On 21 October 2022 the school gathered in the atrium for a collective celebration. The program commenced with an enthralling dance performance on Ramayana ki Chaupai where the entire journey of Lord Rama was seamlessly choreographed and presented by the students. It was followed by a melodious Bhajan. The students knowledge was tested with an interesting and interactive quiz on Ramayana, correct answers winning Diwali goodies. The program came to an end with a solemn prayer, filling all our hearts and minds with love and harmony.
