Labour Day Celebrated at TIS,VV

Labour Day, May Day or International Workers’ Day is observed each year on 1 May to celebrate the achievements of the working class. The day is dedicated to the celebration of workers and the contributions they have made to society. In Tagore International we truly believe in respecting and appreciating all those who work hard to keep our school clean, green and running smoothly. Our students celebrate the day each year by greeting all our support staff and giving them handmade ‘Thank You’ cards. This year too, card making and other craft activities kept the students happily engaged. They were also encouraged to get a cloth duster from home and help in cleaning classrooms and corridors. To respect the value of labour and recognize the silent contribution of all our helping hands is an important aspect of the value system inculcated at TISVV.
